"Yesterday I was clever, so I wanted to change the world. Today I am wise, so I am changing myself." - Rumi Hello! I am a licensed clinical social worker (LCSW) in Florida, North Carolina, Pennsylvania, and Oregon. I have over 13 years of counseling experience providing assessment and counseling for adults, children/adolescents, and couples seeking support with anxiety, depression, life transitions and stressors, as well as self-esteem and self-defeating behaviors. I have extensive knowledge working with children and families, special needs, and behavioral therapy. That foundation has enabled me to gain skills which translate to being effective with almost every person. After all, we were all once children and many of those early childhood wounds are still very prevalent in our adult lives! I offer a safe, non-judgmental environment with a client-centered approach and customized strategies to assist you in meeting treatment goals and transforming your life. I incorporate more traditional psychotherapy models with some integrative tools focusing on self-defeating behaviors derived from negative core beliefs. I utilize Behavior Therapy to formulate practical applications to create new coping strategies, positive behaviors, and skill building for a more enjoyable and peaceful life. I will work with you to identify solutions and resources, empowering you through the changes and outcomes you want to make. You are your best expert and I will guide you to the inner wisdom already available. I completed my Master of Social Work at Barry University in Florida. In my spare time, I love to spend time in nature and do anything involving music. I am also a life coach specializing in confidence coaching. Namaste! I look forward to taking this journey of healing and growth with you. You deserve to have the life you envision! Clinical Approaches: Client-Centered Therapy, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Mindfulness Based Cognitive Therapy (MBCT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) informed techniques, Motivational Interviewing, Narrative Therapy, Solution-Focused Therapy, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), and Empowerment Therapy.
