Introduction

My name is Kellie Miller and I was born and raised in the great state of Maine. I continue to live in the northern part of our state, where I am licensed to practice. In 2007, I graduated with a Master's Degree in Social Work from the University of New England. I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker. I have over 17 years of clinical counseling experience both in an outpatient private practice setting and through tele-health. As a therapist, it is an honor and privilege to join people on their individual journeys back to themselves. I believe the most important aspect to positive therapeutic outcomes for people is a healthy and warm alliance with their therapist. I put an emphasis on earning trust in order to develop a strong working rapport. My approach is authentic, welcoming, compassionate, empathetic, laid back, and non-judgmental. You know yourself best. My primary role is to provide a safe space for you in your personal journey to wellness. This is achieved through building on your strengths; understanding your individual goals; providing relevant resources and education as needed; and using evidenced based clinical approaches. I believe in making services accessible to Maine residents through: -Convenience of a paperless electronic record system - Access to a Client portal with online bill pay -Accessibility to maintain contact through the HIPAA compliant text messaging app, Spruce at https://spruce.care/kelliemiller -Offering Telehealth therapy, including EMDR treatment through secure medical site, doxy.me -Accepting many major insurance plans and offering affordable self pay options I look forward to working with you to achieve your wellness goals! Kellie
