I am amazed and inspired by the human experience. I have a passion for people, culture and our innate response to self protect. I'm drawn to study Internal Family Systems, neuroscience, yoga, somatics, the mind-body connection and how we relate to the world. I have yet to meet a client who wakes up in the morning and declares this is the day it all goes downhill, so this got me curious about how our sense of self diminishes and how we can bring our empowerment back on-line. Clients tell me that working with me is interactive and helps them get to know themselves more clearly with new perspectives to consider. Blending parts work and mind-body strategies, I take the time to get to know you, really hear YOUR concerns and make sure I got it right. I sit with you to do the healing work, to help you build relationships with the parts of you that keep you in patterns of stress, anxiety & depression. This work is done with collaboration, agreement and consent from you. I serve as a guide on your healing journey and we attend to where you feel is most important. I like to think that success is not measured by elimination of stress, anxiety & depression but rather how we reshape our relationship with these parts as we gain self-trust. Its not in my practice to focus on diagnosing my clients but rather working toward healing through understanding your unique life story. I work best with clients who are ready to participate in the experience of therapy and want to take a deeper dive into your healing journey. Most of the clients I work with have tried traditional talk therapy, implemented coping strategies and just seem to hit a wall or find themselves stuck again. Working with me means you are curious and want to invest into developing a conscious relationship with yourself. Modalities of therapy include talk, movement, breath, mindfulness and deep self inquiry. Clients that work with me learn how to attend to their emotional wellbeing so they can reduce the impacts of stress, anxiety & depression. Most of my client express that they feel more inner harmony and have a better understanding of themselves after a few sessions.
