I'm so glad you're here. I work with clients that are seeking support with navigating motherhood (fertility, pregnancy, postpartum, motherhood, birth/early postpartum trauma) and those seeking support with disordered eating and/ body image issues. Of particular interest to me is supporting women with a history of disordered eating as they navigate fertility, pregnancy, postpartum and motherhood. My approach is holistic and tailored to client needs. I am passionate about supporting women in prioritizing their needs, uncovering trauma and associated narratives that are not helpful and showing up as the human you want to be - in your relationships, with your kids, at work/school and at home. I understand that this work looks different for everyone, and it's difficult to put a definite time frame on this process. I offer a solution-focused model that allows for flexibility in this process. I work with many busy folks (parents, professionals, students) and I find that offering solution-focused care can provide momentum when we are stuck. I am not the kind of therapist that will ruminate with you for years without any tangible feedback or structure. I know that if you are here, you are looking for immediate support and insight, and it is my goal to facilitate that to the best of my ability. I'm a busy working mom myself, so I get it! Your time is valuable, you are valuable and you deserve this support. I'm also a mother of two young kids and navigating this path alongside the clients I work with. I value love, pleasure and adventure, and believe with all my heart and soul that these wonders of life are not only possible to maintain in motherhood, but can expand and manifest in ways beyond our imagination during this season of life. Originally from New York, NY, I hold my MA in Counseling from Manhattan College and am licensed in the states of New York and Oregon.
