Hey there, I'm Kelly Merrick, A mental health counselor over with over 5 years of experience, I've had the incredible journey of working as a community-based therapist for children and youth in a higher level of care program. My heart is all about creating a warm and inviting space, especially for the little ones and young adults aged 5-18. I find immense joy in tailoring my approach to their unique needs, making sure every session feels like a safe haven for growth and understanding. I specialize working with the LGBTQ+ family and kids and teens who've been through sexual assault trauma. Together, we navigate these paths with care and compassion. My strength lies in understanding, patience, and having a heart full of empathy and I breath my strength in essence into my sessions hopefully bringing out a strength within them. Beyond the counseling room, I'm surrounded by an amazing support system that keeps my spirits high. In my downtime, you'll catch me nose-deep in a good book, exploring the enchanting worlds that literature opens up.
