Introduction

I was born in a suburb of Chicago, IL, lived in Tulsa, OK, and was raised in Arlington, TX. I obtained my Bachelor of Arts in Psychology at the University of Texas at Austin in 1993. In 1998, I obtained my Master's Degree in Counselor Education from the University of North Texas. I am married and have 2 children and 2 step children. I worked as a school counselor and at a counseling practice in St. Louis, MO. In 2014, I left these and opened my own private practice in Union, MO. I moved to Ponte Vedra, FL in May 2020, when my youngest son went into the army. My daughter recently had a child so we moved back to TX to be near them. My husband and I enjoy the outdoors, cooking, traveling, eating out, and watching movies.
