My goal as a therapist is to provide a safe, nonjudgmental atmosphere in which we can work together to gain a greater understanding of your challenges and move toward healing and growth. I provide individual therapy to adults, and specialize in working with those that are impacted by anxiety, chronic illness, eating disorders, and depression. I also commonly provide counseling services for grief and loss, life transitions, adjustment to parenthood, self-esteem, stress management, and family of origin issues. I view counseling as a collaborative process, and work with you to create goals in line with your values and needs. My approach typically includes aspects of Cognitive Behavioral, Systemic, and Mindfulness-based therapies. I am not providing couples/marital counseling at this time. In addition to being a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist, I hold a certification as a Medical Family Therapist.
