I pride myself on being very real in all my life, including my work with clients. I believe authenticity is critical for a strong bond between counselor and client. I consider myself an action-oriented, solution-focused therapist. My style is both compassionate and directive. The theoretical orientation that guides much of my work with clients is CBT, or Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, which maintains that what we think, feel, and do are all interconnected. CBT has changed my own life and I am always excited to work with clients to assist them in reclaiming their own lives with the help of CBT therapy. In addition to CBT, I incorporate solution-focused therapy and mindfulness interventions via a holistic approach to ensure each client receives therapy best suited for their needs (mind, body, and spirit).
