Kelsie Young was born and raised in Wyoming and graduated with a bachelor’s in psychology from the University of Wyoming. Her Master’s degree in counseling was completed at Walden University, with a specialization in military families and culture. She then completed a certificate program in Sex Therapy and Sexuality Education through the University of Michigan. Kelsie has experience in private practice, outpatient settings, and community mental health. As a passionate and certified Licensed Professional Counselor, her experience allows her to understand the best ways to address each client’s needs in an effective manner. She is flexible in her approach and uses collaboration as the basis of her therapy—ensuring a comfortable, safe environment where goals can be worked on together. Kelsie's goals are to help empower her clients to work collaboratively in their treatment. Providing skills and tools to use during treatment and throughout their lives.
