Kendall Sapiro is a licensed social worker practicing in NYC. A former Kindergarten teacher, Kendall brings to the clinical space a light-hearted and supportive style. She is dedicated to fostering meaningful connections characterized by warmth, authenticity, and non-judgment. Kendall sees therapy as a meaningful avenue for individuals to explore their personal experiences, foster a deeper sense of self-awareness, harness the power to initiate positive changes, embrace their genuine selves, and actively strive towards manifesting the transformations they seek in their lives. When not in the office, you can find Kendall with her friends and family, babysitting dogs, doing pilates, and exploring new restaurants and neighborhoods! Kendall came to Wavelength Psychotherapy from New York University’s Counseling and Wellness Center where she developed her niche for working with young adults and adolescents with diverse backgrounds. Kendall provides an integrative approach using evidence-based therapies such as, cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), dialectical behavior therapy (DBT), and acceptance and commitment therapy (ACT) with a particular expertise and interest in treating anxiety, depression, eating disorders and relationship difficulties.
