Kendra graduated with her Master of Art in Art Therapy from Albertus Magnus College. Before joining CMS Therapy Group, Kendra was an Art Therapist at Yale New Haven Children’s Hospital where she utilized her skills to help children and families work through trauma, cope with loss, process feelings related to illness, and reduce pain symptoms. Before this, Kendra worked with children, adolescents and adults in inpatient and Intensive Outpatient Program settings at Bridgeport Hospital, and at a residential treatment facility. She is an Adjunct Professor at Springfield College where she supervises students and develops curriculum for its Art Therapy/Counseling Graduate Program and is the Curriculum Chair and a board member at Sawubona – a community-based initiative to support the mental health and resiliency of children, adolescents and their families through creative expression. She has presented on Art Therapy at several different professional symposiums and summits over the years, and is published in the Journal of the American Academy of Child and Adolescent Psychiatry. Kendra has experience working with clients who struggle with behavioral issues, trauma, anxiety, eating disorders, and depression. She enjoys working with client in individual, family and group settings.
