I am a licensed mental health counselor and am passionate about working with adolescents to adults who struggle with the following problems: depression, anxiety/stress, mood disorders, low self-esteem, anger management, relationship issues, parenting challenges, as well as issues that can result from the wide variety of challenging circumstances that life may present. As your counselor, I will strive to develop, with you, a collaborative therapeutic relationship and safe environment in which you feel valued, respected and validated. My goals as a therapist is simple - I want to help my clients feel better. I utilize both solution-focused methods to address more immediate concerns and Cognitive-Behavioral approaches oriented toward changing maladaptive thought/behavioral patterns when needed. I want you to make real progress on the issues standing between you and the life you desire. I work together with my clients to find the best course of action to meet their unique needs and goals.
