Many people experience a challenge in life that impedes their ability to fully be themselves, be present in their daily life, and be connected to the people they love. Often, people try to cope with stress or unhappiness by pushing through the bad feelings and continuing on until that no longer works. If you find yourself in this situation, I can help you find a path back to being present in, and enjoying, your life. Therapy allows for a connection and a relationship in which your healing and wellbeing is the focus. It creates a space for you to stop, breathe, feel and talk through what is distressing you. I work with people who are experiencing difficulties related to anxiety, depression, relationship concerns, past traumas, grief, stress, life transitions, and infertility. I also work with people who want to explore how family of origin issues are impacting their current relationships. My approach integrates psychodynamic treatment with mindfulness and body-centered work. My goal is to collaborate with you to create a therapeutic relationship in which you feel safe to explore what is getting in the way of how you want to be living and to support you in making meaningful changes that allow you to have more fulfillment in your life.
