My focus, in therapy, is to help you expand and strengthen your resources by learning effective coping strategies. I work with adults and adolescents struggling with transitions, depression, anxiety, substance abuse, anger and relationship problems. My therapy style is active and collaborative. Depending on your presenting concern, I utilize Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Somatic Experiencing, Mindfulness, Reiki, Solution Focused and Prepare/Enrich for couples. I utilize holistic approaches taking into account the mind, body, and spirit in conjunction with traditional psychotherapy. My therapy style is empathic yet results-driven and solution-focused. I'll work hard to understand and validate your struggle, while also challenging you to change what’s no longer working. You are not alone and together we can get to the root of what troubles you.
