imberly is the founder of Talk Time Therapy. She received her Bachelor of Science degree from Radford University, with a major in Psychology and a minor in Sociology. Eager to continuing learning and equipped with the desire to help people, Kimberly was led to pursue a Master of Arts in Counseling from Marymount University. While at Marymount University, she completed a practicum working with co-occurring disorders in a group home setting. For her internship, Kimberly worked with those suffering from severe mental illness in long term care. Kimberly took the National Counselor Certification exam and became credentialed as a NCC just prior to graduation. Upon graduation, Kimberly worked for a local government in Northern Virginia. Her job was focused on helping the indigent population navigate mental illness and reintegrate back into society. After two years of post-graduate work experience in the field, she was eligible to take the state licensing exam. Kimberly has been licensed in the state of Virginia as a Licensed Professional Counselor since 2010. Since 2010, Kimberly has been in private practice helping women and adolescents work through anxiety, depression, bipolar disorder, OCD, relationship issues, chronic health issues, everyday stressors and adjustments to life’s everchanging dynamics.
