I am a compassionate, empathetic, solution focused therapist that is dedicated personally and professionally. I have 16 years of experience in Education, Mental Health, and Counseling. My educational background includes Bachelors of Science (Virginia State University), Masters of Counselor Education (VSU), Masters of Mental Health Counseling (Walden University), and currently enrolled into Walden University's doctoral program for Counseling . I am licensed as a Professional Counselor (LPC) in the states of Virginia, North Carolina, and Georgia. I hold a Pupil Personnel License (PreK-12-VA), National Board Certification as a National Certified Counselor-NCC, National Certified School Counselor-NCSC, and serve as a Military and Family Life Consultant. I also have a passion for working with adults and children through expressive art techniques, music, and the utilization of play therapy techniques. I will utilize a therapeutic framework that focuses on your specific needs, that is solution focused, culturally sensitive, and empowering to your path of success.
