My name is Kimberly Jones. I have in-depth training with Mindfulness, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT) and Prolonged Exposure to help client gain clarity on what they want and on what’s getting in the way. I received Bachelor of Psychology and Education from the University of Massachusetts in Amherst, followed by a Master of Social Work from the University of California Los Angeles. I am currently registered with the Board of Behavioral Sciences as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker. I have received training at Harvard University’s McLean Hospital in DBT prior to attending graduate school. I am intensively trained by Behavioral Tech in Dialectical Behavioral Therapy. I have also received multiple trainings in exposure based work for trauma and OCD and I am certified mindfulness coach, yoga instructor and breathwork facilitator. If you are struggling with managing anxiety and pain, calming your mind, regaining control of your emotions, finding joy in the present, building self-esteem and better relationships, or removing barriers towards the life that you want, then you are not alone. In my practice I utilize Dialectical Behavioral Therapy, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Mindfulness Based Therapy, Exposure and holistic modalities to help get clients to where they are trying to go. I believe that we can work together to help you learn the tools you need to remove barriers, learn to manage your emotions and create the life that you want. I specialize in helping those who struggle with anxiety disorders, self-esteem issues, trauma, life transitions and depression learn to better understand themselves and what they need to live in alignment with their values and the life they want.
