Hi! My name is Kimberly. I am a clinical psychologist specializing in the evaluation and treatment of mood, anxiety and behavioral disorders in children, adolescents and young adults. I have particular interest and expertise in the treatment of depression, self-harm, specific phobias, school refusal, trichotillomania and oppositional or noncompliant behavior. I also works closely with schools and parents to offer in-home treatment and school consultation and am a certified PCIT Therapist and Level 1 Trainer with additional certifications in mindfulness-based treatment, CBT and Trauma-Focused CBT. In addition to seeing clients virtually and in Westchester or Manhattan, I am also a senior psychologist at NewYork-Presbyterian Hospital and an assistant professor at Columbia University Irving Medical Center in the Department of Psychiatry. In this role, I work closely with families and schools by combining my interests in well-being and positive psychology with behavior modification, preventative interventions and dissemination.
