Introduction

Emeralds of Hope Counseling LLC is a private counseling practice that serves teens and adults battling with anxiety, depression and current dysfunctional patterns that are rooted in adverse past experiences. Emeralds of Hope Counseling LLC was created for individuals who want to break free from unhealthy cycles and who are looking for practical tools to ease symptoms such as overthinking, poor boundaries, lack of self-love, life transitions and a deflated mood. Emeralds of Hope Counseling utilizes evidence based approaches to establish interventions and is intentional in creating a safe and welcoming environment inspired by the love of God. Emeralds of Hope Counseling uses a collaborative approach where the client is the expert on their life story and the therapist provides clinically sound guidance with kindness and warmth. Emeralds of Hope Counseling was established by Kimberly Madison, MS, LPC, who has eight years of service in Human Services. Before pursuing a career in counseling, Kimberly served active duty in the US Navy. As a Navy Veteran, Kimberly has respect and understanding for diverse experiences and has always had a heart for service to others. Kimberly earned a Bachelor's of Science in Human Services with an emphasis in Mental Health and a Master's of Science in Clinical Mental Health Counseling both obtained at Mercer University. Kimberly is a Licensed Professional Counselor in the state of Georgia. As a wife and mom of three children, she is not exempt from human experiences and therefore believes in practicing what she shares with her clients. She loves her family fiercely and believes in putting God first.
