Introduction

I am a Licensed Professional Counselor who is passionate about people and their wellbeing. I enjoy empowering clients to find their inner peace along their journeys. I have an extensive history of working in the healthcare industry for over 20 years that includes working in mental health for almost 10 years. I had the privilege of working in a hospital clinic specializing in weight related issues, including bariatric surgery, prior to transitioning into private practice that allowed me to observe how much health, stress, and lifestyle impact one's overall wellbeing. In my work as a psychotherapist, I have assisted numerous clients improve their wellbeing through lifestyle changes and addressing their difficult inner parts and underlying root challenges. My path has allowed me to work with a diverse population, including college students/young adults, middle-age adults, and senior adults, utilizing a variety of evidenced-based practices and modalities, including CBT, Mindfulness, Motivational Interviewing, IFS, and DBT to address experiences related to anxiety, stress, depression, trauma, eating disorders, and ADHD.
