Introduction

Krista has spent over a decade working with adolescents, young women, and families. She is the founder of Set Your Mind, and Girl Above (a local non-profit striving to improve the mental health of teen girls and their parents). Krista is a certified life coach and Licensed Professional Counselor Candidate. Krista became a therapist after spending time as a high school and middle school teacher and dance coach. She realized the aching need for connection and support among the younger generations and became passionate about helping them create lasting change in their lives. Over the years, she has been fortunate enough to launch a podcast for parents and speak with hundreds of parents across Colorado, helping them navigate the most pressing issues facing today’s teens. Krista also facilitates groups for adolescent girls and adult women to improve their confidence and learn to become advocates for themselves. Krista is a Colorado native and currently lives in Lakewood with her husband, their son, and their Goldendoodle, Ollie.
