Introduction

I am a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist with twenty years of experience working with clients of all ages and a variety of presenting issues. Among my areas of expertise are treating adults and adolescents with anxiety, depression, trauma, ADHD, relationship issues, and helping people deal with difficult life transitions such as divorce, work stress, parenting, and grief/loss. I also enjoy working with young adults as they navigate the unique challenges they face. I have been trained in EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization Reprocessing) for trauma. I have a master's degree from Portland State University in Portland, Oregon and I am an active member of the California Association for Marriage and Family Therapists. I consider it an honor and a privilege when clients choose to partner with me in their healing process. I understand that there is no "one size fits all" approach to wellness. Everyone is unique in their life experience and their healing journey. Therefore, I strive to listen with open-hearted attentiveness and non-judgment in order to understand your pain and the hopes you have for your life. Together we will begin to find the path back to your authentic self and work to create a life of intention and purpose. It is possible to feel peace, contentment, and wholeness again. I'd love to talk with you to determine whether I might be the right therapist for you.
