I have accrued over ten years of experience with people on sorting through a variety of life's difficulties. I work with people who may be struggling with all sorts of problems and I work collaboratively to figure out the best means of approaching these problems. Every person needs a different approach so I try to borrow from many different theoretical models. The three models I use the most are Internal Family Systems (which helps us to separate and heal parts of ourselves,) Accelerated Experiential Dynamic Psychotherapy (which emphasizes using relationship to heal) and EMDR (targeting traumatic pathways.) No matter the issue or goal, I draw from my belief in treating life's problems with respect, kindness and humor.
