Since 2004, Kristen has been walking alongside individuals as they begin to uncover the larger story that God might be working in, through their lives. Watching God use brokenness to move people toward redemption and wholeness is one of Kristen’s greatest privileges as a therapist. Kristen’s therapeutic approach is a blend of Narrative Therapy, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Interpersonal Neurobiology, and Attachment Theory. She works with clients in a collaborative way to build rapport and to facilitate the client’s ownership in the room so clients can recognize their part in growing and understanding their story. She is extensively trained in the integration of psychology and Christianity, and Christian counseling tools are available for integration at the client’s request. Kristen also practices from a trauma informed care lens.
