Hi- I'm Kristen, Owner and Licensed Therapist at Pittsburgh Art Therapy & Counseling. By building an empathetic and collaborative therapeutic relationship, my hope is that we can creatively explore your experiences and their impacts in a way that is beneficial and tailored specifically for you. In taking those steps there is a beautiful opportunity to truly learn about yourself. I will step into the space of fostering greater self-awareness with you in a curious, expressive, and non-judgmental way. I hope to walk beside you on your journey towards self-discovery and guide you towards feeling empowered. I use creative arts therapy and traditional counseling techniques that focus on safety within the therapy relationship and space for processing your thoughts, feelings, and experiences. I with folks of various needs and backgrounds but feel passionate about working on women's issues as well as burn out with healthcare professionals.
