Kristin is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker who supports individuals on their path towards healing. She is experienced in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Mindfulness-Centered Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Dialectical Behavioral Therapy, Solution Focused Brief Therapy and Motivational Interviewing. She also incorporates a humanistic approach and solution-focused techniques to make her therapeutic work client-centered, compassionate, and effective. Additionally, as a registered yoga instructor, she has unique training focused on empowering others, utilizing a trauma-informed lens, and embodying warmth and empathy. Since 2011, she has worked with youth, adolescents, and adults in various settings including non-profit organizations, education, community mental health, and acute psychiatric care. She has worked with populations across the lifespan and recognizes the importance of support at all stages in life. She attended California State University, Long Beach, earning her B.A. in Liberal Studies with a concentration in Human Behavior and her MSW in Social Work with a specialization in Community Mental Health.
