I have experience working with individuals to overcome various mental health challenges such as depression, anxiety, issues with self-esteem, trauma and life changes. I listen closely to the needs of my clients to choose a treatment approach that is most helpful and appropriate for them. In collaboration, we will utilize various modalities and techniques such as cognitive restructuring, mindfulness practices, conflict management and others to help reach your personal goal - whatever that may be. I take an integrative treatment approach with the goal of choosing evidence-based interventions that are most appropriate for each individual client based on one's experiences, identity, needs and goals. Treatment approaches include cognitive behavioral therapy, dialectical behavioral therapy, narrative therapy, relational-cultural and mindfulness practices. I believe that a genuine, trusting therapeutic relationship is an important factor to the success of therapy. I integrate critical, anti-racist and anti-oppressive theoretical elements into my practice to provide a safe, non-judgmental space that welcomes all parts of you and allows us to explore how we can work together towards your personal goals.
