Introduction

“Healing doesn’t mean the damage never existed. It means the damage no longer controls our lives.” – Akshay Dubey Seeking therapy is a brave and meaningful step—and I want you to know you don’t have to do it alone. In our work together, you’re in the driver’s seat. I’m here as your guide, offering support, insight, and tools to help you reconnect with your power and sense of self. I specialize in working with adults navigating depression, anxiety, trauma, neurodivergence, and relationship challenges—whether with romantic partners, family, friends, or colleagues. Together, we’ll work to understand patterns, heal emotional wounds, and build healthy boundaries so you can move through life with more clarity, confidence, and self-compassion. My style is down-to-earth, affirming, and real. You can swear, cry, laugh, rage, or sit in silence—nothing is too big or too small for the therapy space we create. I believe healing happens when you feel truly seen and accepted just as you are. I am trained in Eye Movement Desensitization Reprocessing (EMDR) Therapy to help clients heal from past trauma(s). But I also love blending evidence-based practices with psychoeducation on mindfulness, grounding, and nervous system regulation. I bring a spiritual (but not religious) lens to my work for those who are open to it, honoring the mind-body-soul connection in your healing process. Therapy with me is a collaborative process—tailored to you, your pace, and your goals. Whether you’re feeling stuck, overwhelmed, or just curious about how life could feel better, I’m here to walk alongside you. Let’s talk. About Me I’ve worked in the mental health field for many years across a variety of settings, including hospitals, outpatient care, and now private practice. Much of my experience comes from working in a hospital environment where I provided crisis behavioral health assessments to determine safety and the appropriate level of care. That work sharpened my clinical instincts, deepened my understanding of mental health diagnoses, and reinforced my commitment to providing thoughtful, individualized care. I now work exclusively with adults (ages 18+), and I welcome clients of all backgrounds and identities. I commonly support people navigating Depression, Anxiety, Trauma, Grief, and Neurodivergence. I bring a trauma-informed, collaborative approach to every session and strive to create a space where you feel seen, safe, and supported. Whether you’re looking to understand yourself better, process painful experiences, or build healthier relationships, I’m here to walk alongside you with compassion, curiosity, and a few well-timed swear words if needed. Why Telehealth? Telehealth therapy offers flexibility, comfort, and privacy—and for many of my clients, it’s become their preferred way to engage in therapy. Meeting from the comfort of your own home can make it easier to open up, feel safe, and be fully yourself. There’s no commute, no waiting room, and no chance of running into someone you know on the way in or out. Virtual therapy also allows me to offer a more flexible schedule, including appointment times that wouldn’t be possible in a traditional office setting. It’s a modern, accessible way to prioritize your mental health—on your terms. If you’re curious about whether we’d be a good fit, I’d love to connect. I’m currently accepting new clients and offer a variety of appointment times to meet your needs. I look forward to meeting you!
