Introduction

I am a Licensed Clinical Psychologist. In addition to private practice, I work part-time at the Safe Harbor Trauma Recovery Center (TRC) at Harbor UCLA Medical Center where I specialize in trauma treatment for individuals who have been the victim of interpersonal violence, and I teach at California State University, Long Beach to undergraduate students. I earned my doctorate in Clinical Psychology in 2020 from The Chicago School of Professional Psychology. My internship was completed in Newark, Ohio where I worked with individuals across the lifespan (6 years old to 84 years old) and across the spectrum of diagnoses. I completed my post-doctoral fellowship within the Harbor UCLA Trauma Recovery Center/Assertive Community Treatment emphasis, and became employed with the TRC shortly after. Until this fairly recent endeavor of starting a private practice, my clinical experiences were all within community mental health, aligning with my personal and professional values of providing empathic, attuned care to often underrepresented, underserved, marginalized populations. My intention is to expand this focus of compassion, cultural humility, and quality mental health care to other communities. Please don't hesitate to contact me for a free consult call. I know it can be an exhausting process trying to find the right therapist, and there is no pressure for commitment with me until you're certain I'm a good fit. I wish you good fortune and ease in your journey. Take care and be well.
