I believe that the most important thing to begin with is listening, to truly begin striving to understand you and see how I can best be of help. I will strive to provide a safe, calm and accepting environment where we can explore those things that may be holding you back from being what you want to be. I believe deeply that you are the ultimate expert on yourself and our relationship will always be all about you and how we can begin moving towards your best self - however you define that to be. I utilize various methods to help my clients become their best self, including EMDR, CBT, individual and couple’s counseling - I operate from the standpoint that the point of going to therapy is to STOP going to therapy. My goal is to help you work towards your goals so that we can get you back to living your best life. I retired from the Marine Corps in early 2021 after 20 years of active duty; during the last 4 years of my military career, I focused on learning about, and practicing the art and science of Mental Health Counseling. I truly enjoy working with people of all ages and with all concerns, though I gravitate towards working with clients dealing with Bipolar Disorder, Narcissistic Personality Disorder and Obsessive Compulsive Disorder. I have always wanted to help people to improve their lives and to that end received a Master’s Degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from the University of the Cumberlands in 2019 and a Master’s Degree from the University of the Cumberlands in Substance Abuse Counseling in 2020. I look forward to working with you!
