Lacey Lee is a Licensed Specialist Clinical Social Worker. She received her bachelor’s degree in Psychology from William Jewell College in 2009, her master’s degree in Social Work from the University of Kansas in 2011, and her Certificate in Play Therapy from MidAmerica Nazarene University in 2019. Lacey currently works full-time in the school setting. Previously, she has worked in child welfare as an in-home Family Preservation Therapist and at a local mental health treatment facility serving youth as a Clinical Assessor. Although children and families are her passion, Lacey enjoys working with a variety of age groups dealing with things such as anxiety, depression, trauma, anger management, divorce, negative self-concept, behavior, and attention. Her motto is, “Every interaction is an intervention.” Lacey uses a variety of therapeutic approaches including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Dialectical Behavior Therapy, as well as Acceptance and Commitment Therapy. She operates from a client-centered perspective and strives to provide a non-judgmental, nurturing, safe space to explore, process, and grow. Lacey believes in meeting her clients where they are at and actively walking with them on their journey. Lacey currently resides in Olathe with her husband, son, and daughter. In her free time, she enjoys traveling, reading, and listening to live music.
