Hello! My name is Larissa Childers and I am a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) based in Yuba City, California, working with clients statewide via Telehealth. I work with adults and specialize in grief, stress, trauma & life transitions. My approach to therapy varies based on the needs of each client that I work with. I most frequently use cognitive behavioral therapy, trauma focused & attachment based. I utilize a trauma-informed, affirmative and strength based lens. I work to help my clients navigate these life transitions and stressors. Through the application of new coping skills and interventions clients begin to respond to stress in a healthier way and create a positive outlook on life. If you are experiencing loneliness, anger, depleted motivation, or feeling overwhelmed. I can help. Please contact me if you are interested or have questions. I look forward to hearing from you!
