I know how scary it may be to search for a therapist that can meet your needs, so let me tell you a little about me to help reduce some of that stress. As a mom, therapist and business owner, I am passionate about living (and helping others to live) a more balanced life. My therapeutic approach is relaxed, down-to-earth, friendly and strength-based. This practice is sex-positive, trauma-informed, weight-inclusive, and affirming of folks from LGBTQ+, Kink, and Polyamory/Consensual Non-Monogamy communities. I work well with women (18-60) who struggle with stress and learning to balance their needs with the needs of their loves ones. I also work well with people who struggle with issues related to trauma, self-esteem, PTSD, parenting skills, panic, OCD, Life transitions, job stress, grief/loss, family caregiving stress, emotional eating due to stress, depression, burnout, body image issues, anxiety, aging concerns, adjustment disorder, pregnancy loss and miscarriage. Lastly, I am trained in eye movement desensitization and reprocessing or EMDR, expressive therapies and I also utilize Cognitive Behavioral Therapy or CBT with my clients in session.
