My hope is that during our work together you will heal from past traumas, disconnection, and pain and will leave feeling more secure, peaceful and clear about who you are. My journey into therapy began working with college students in higher education as I began to see firsthand the importance of young adults start to understand their story which led to greater self awareness and ability to navigate change in their own lives. After that season, I have balanced being a working mom for the past 10+ years as I relate to many of my clients in the challenges they face maintaining health as parents, spouses, employees, and in other relationships. Most recently I began training in EMDR which has been helpful for a variety of different life issues and my passion and understanding of how the nervous system is impacted by trauma has been profoundly changed by this approach. I also have utilized Internal Family Systems which helps people better understand different parts of themselves and how these parts have interacted in their lives in order to live more congruent, centered lives. I am here to be a support and guide for you on your journey. Life can be challenging, but with the right resources you can navigate it with strength and find a path of purpose and meaning.
