My goal is to create an honest and nonjudgmental space where individuals can feel safe to heal from painful experiences, improve connections, build supportive tools for coping, and create a more contented life. I am committed to a holistic and collaborative approach with consideration of individual strengths, experiences, and broader cultural context. I use a dynamic, highly individualized approach to help people create deep, meaningful change in how they relate to themselves, their bodies, and others. I specialize in treating individuals who have experienced trauma as well as those who suffer from eating disorders. I work best with people who are deeply committed to their own growth. I believe that a strong therapeutic connection serves as the foundation for doing meaningful personal work. In addition to private practice, I work at Silver Hill Hospital in a DBT intensive program where I see individuals suffering from mood disorders, anxiety disorders, and personality disorders. I am trained in dialectical behavior therapy and draw on a number of other evidence based models such as cognitive behavioral therapy and somatic therapy.
