I approach therapy as a collaboration between client and therapist. I use a creative blend of techniques to facilitate my clients' development and mastering of skills to reduce the symptoms that moved them to seek therapy services. I meet my clients where they are, as they are. I support and encourage them as they become able to lead their best, most fulfilling, and calmest lives. I utilize an eclectic, creative approach with therapy and use Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Solution-Focused Brief-Therapy, play, psychoeducation, Mindfulness Based Stress Reduction, and humor to help clients master the skills needed to reduce their symptoms and lead their best life. I graduated with my master’s degree from Stephen F. Austin University in 1996 and received my Licensed Professional Counselor license in 1998 (#14878). I accept most major insurance. A sliding scale is available for those who do not have insurance coverage.
