Laura Query is a dedicated and compassionate therapist who cares deeply about helping her clients express their authentic feelings and follow their chosen paths. Laura began her career as an educator and has always had a passion for connecting with others in meaningful ways. She received a Master of Education degree from the Harvard Graduate School of Education in 2001 and then worked in such capacities as a teacher, educational consultant, and editor. By following her heart and her own authentic path, Laura felt so fortunate to find her way to the field of clinical mental health counseling. She completed her training at William James College and earned a graduate degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling in 2018. Laura has since been working in clinical practice, serving teens and adults, and providing both individual and group therapy. Her areas of specialization include training in Expressive Arts Therapies, and experiential training in Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction (MBSR) through The Center for Mindfulness at The University of Massachusetts. Laura's approach to treatment includes a genuine openness and a deeply held regard for the courage it takes to step into therapy. She believes that the therapy experience must be collaborative and that each client's journey takes on a unique trajectory. Laura sees this uniqueness as the beauty of the therapeutic process!
