My job as your therapist is to consistently offer non-judgmental kindness, clinical insight and thoughtful interventions as we partner in moving you toward fuller and more satisfying participation in your own life. My desire is to create an emotionally safe environment where you can explore your own experiences while increasing awareness and compassion towards yourself and others. I see therapy as an important part of holistic care and seek to facilitate integration of mind, body, heart and soul with my clients. Much harm occurs in relationships, and often times the kind and compassionate face of another receiving our stories is necessary for us to fully heal. Together we will pay close attention to what comes up for you as we offer tender care to your heart. Because of my passionate desire to walk with others through life at a deep and authentic level, I pursued training in Narrative Focused Trauma Care through The Allender Center followed by earning my Masters of Counseling Psychology from The Seattle School of Theology and Psychology. I am currently located in the beautiful North Carolina Mountains and can see clients virtually across the state. When I'm not working I am pursuing play, rest and adventure with my spouse and three children, gathering around a table with friends, reading a good book, or savoring the natural world.
