Hi there. I'm Lauren, a masters-level student counselor practicing under the supervision of Aranda Psychotherapy, PLLC. My degree specialization is in military and veterans counseling. While I am new to this profession, I bring with me extensive experience guiding people (literally and figuratively) through situations that were often novel, challenging, stressful, and complicated. With this in mind, it is perhaps no surprise that I'm interested in helping people navigate the myriad of major transitions life has to offer, whether that's the wake of an unexpected loss or a career that is intertwined with your sense of identity. We could be a good match if you are looking for the support of someone who is collaborative, affirming, creative, and motivated to help you craft the best possible version of your present reality. When I'm not seeing clients, I'm actively pursuing work in the field of suicide prevention and advocating for the mental health of first responders.
