Seeking Feminist, body-neutral, LGBTQIA+ celebrating depth therapy? You’ve come to a point where you know old narratives aren’t serving you, they’re playing out in your relationships, career, family, internal narrative & you want to create more joy, freedom & ease in your day to day. Culture, race, ethnicity, gender, sex, & sexuality all impact the stories we are told about who we can be, should be & are. These narratives affect how we think about ourselves & they require time, attention & care to unpack, process & heal. The feminist LGBTQIA+ affirming & celebrating lens can foster healing, empowerment, & liberation for all identities! You may be feeling stuck, stressed, depressed, exhausted, unworthy, guilty, lost & not knowing why you don’t feel better yet. Life has been coming at us all at hyper-speed for the past few years, and you’ve likely left your own needs as second or third on the list. Maybe your relationships are feeling stuck & you feel lost on how to have conversations around sex, money, or household tasks? Therapy is also a great place for co-creating a stronger foundation of love and connection to prepare for the inevitable bumps of life. Many couples wait years to seek help, and catching these patterns early is powerful. For couples & relational therapy, I use a the Gottman approach which has decades of research showing how it helps couples navigate emotional labor, task overwhelm, burnout, and fosters deeper connection. My work is affirming of enm, poly, kink, & bdsm. I have a great deal of experience using a diverse toolkit of evidence-based interventions, incorporating approaches such as ACT, SFT, CBT, and MBSR through a feminist narrative lens to foster safety, skills & resilience. I aim to foster an environment of curiosity where your whole self can be recognized, affirmed, and celebrated. This includes your values, strengths, resilience, spirituality/religion, politics, activism, and culture—as well as experiences of discrimination and oppression though racism, sexism, disability, body size, neurodivergence, ageism, relational structure, gender and sexuality. If this resonated with you we are probably a great fit, and I can’t wait to hear all about what you are looking to get out of therapy. Please get in touch via phone or email to arrange a 15-minute consultation and I’ll answer any questions you may have, make sure it is a great fit, and if its not for any reason I’m happy to help guide you through the process of finding the right therapist. You’re in the right place :) Also, I have two spaces available for individual clients at my sliding scale rate of $140-175 based on financial need, reach out if it would be a good fit.
