As a Licensed Professional Counselor, I am deeply committed to creating a safe, nonjudgmental space where clients can begin the healing process. I am dual certified as a Licensed Clinical Drug and Alcohol Counselor and am a Certified Clinical Trauma Specialist. I have received a special certificate in Trauma Response and Crisis Intervention from Rutgers University School of Social work and am in the process of completing a certificate program for Traumatic Stress Studies through the Trauma Research Foundation. My approach emphasizes developing healthy coping skills so that you can better tolerate distress and work to understand and integrate past painful experiences. We will work to cultivate inner strength and resilience through a focus on self compassion. Whether you are struggling with trauma, anxiety, ADHD, depression, BPD, gender dysphoria or looking to build a stronger sense of self, I offer a supportive and empathetic environment where you can gain insight, grow, and heal. My approach to therapy integrates a variety of evidence-based practices including CBT, DBT, and IFS with an emphasis on fostering mindfulness. While building a strong mind/body connection, you will learn to challenge distorted thoughts, identify and regulate physiological responses to distress and process past experiences in a safe and supportive manner. Ultimately, I believe healing is within reach for everyone when they have the right tools. My goal is to help you create lasting change by equipping you with the skills you need to thrive, fostering emotional well-being, and empowering you to live a life full of connection, purpose, and inner peace.
