Introduction

Everyone has their capacity for happiness and I want to help you find it. Happiness comes from creating connection to ourselves, our environment, our purpose, and others. I help adults looking for assistance in improving their lives and breaking through old patterns of behaviors. I help those looking for direction, purpose, and answers to questions about their experiences. People ask themselves why they keep having the same things happen over and over in their life, I can help figure out those patterns and help to eliminate them so that you can move forward. As children we crave our parents' love and affection. Sometimes our parents fall short. They may have ignored your emotions, made you believe negative things about yourself or used you to get what they wanted. As an adult you struggle with those unfulfilled needs you had as a child and look for others to fill those needs. I can help you fill those needs. Therapy with me is not always an easy, gentle process. I use a person-centered, direct approach to therapy. I use humor and am not afraid to use adult words when discussing things. I use therapies such as CBT, DBT & MI. All of that is to say that I meet you where you are at, and help you (and sometimes push you) to where you want to go.
