Introduction
Lauren earned her BA in studio art with a minor in psychology from Old Dominion University in 2015. She went on to receive her MSW with a clinical concentration from Norfolk State University in 2018. Lauren is a licensed provider in VA and has years of clinical experience working with individuals and their families experiencing a variety of behavioral and mental health issues. She is committed to quality of services to diverse populations and making a positive difference in the lives of those seeking assistance. She has a history of working with child welfare and the foster care system. She focuses heavily on helping individuals process trauma and the daily challenges of life. Lauren is very thorough in her clinical work, and is very passionate about making a difference. She is able to provide the best care for each of her clients by learning alternative treatment modalities, and applying effective interventions. She has witnessed the life-changing power of social work and that motivates her to continue doing this important work.
