Ever since I was young, I knew I wanted to get into a career path that focused on helping others. This interest led me to study psychology and counseling, earning my Bachelor's in Psychology at University of California, Santa Cruz and my Master's in Counseling Psychology at University of San Francisco. In my last year of college, I volunteered as a suicide hotline responder, and I began my career working in private and public education; including special education for students on the autism spectrum or with other disabilities. After completing graduate school, I then transitioned into providing mental health care, working in local schools and at the YWCA of Silicon Valley in their outpatient clinic. From there, I went on to work for the Rebekahs Children's services Hospital Diversion inpatient program, followed by working at Bay Area Clinical Associates as an outpatient clinician and group supervisor for beginning therapists. I am now thrilled to be providing mental health care through my own telehealth private practice. As a licensed Marriage and Family Therapist in the greater San Francisco bay area, I am committed to the well-being of all my clients and go above and beyond to cater to their needs. I truly care for all of my clients, and work diligently to help find them the answers they seek. I have worked with a variety of clients dealing with circumstances that are unique to their lives, including issues related to anxiety, depression, trauma, grief & loss, relationships, and transitions. I also have expertise in the following: Cognitive behavioral therapy, Trauma-focused therapy, Art therapy, Acceptance and Commitment therapy, Motivational Interviewing, Couples and family therapy, and Seven Challenges. At this time in my telehealth practice, I am primarily providing individual mental health care for adult and adolescents clients.
