I am a licensed clinical social worker with over thirty years of experience specializing in individual, couples and family therapy. During this time, I have grown to have great respect for the courage and strength of my clients. My approach to therapy involves working with you to create a therapeutic relationship in which you may: gain greater insight and understanding about yourself . identify your resources and strengths. explore issues you are concerned about. learn new skills. make concrete changes that move you toward your goals. In my practice, I utilize several different approaches to assist my clients, such as Mindfulness, Acceptance and Commitment Theory, Psychodynamic theory, Systems theory, Cognitive therapy, and Positive Psychology. I stress self-care as the main building block of therapy.
