Leigh Tatum is the owner of Leigh Tatum Counseling and Consulting, LLC. Leigh is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker, who has recently relocated to Colorado from Memphis, Tennessee. She earned a bachelors in Psychology at Auburn University and a masters degree in Social Work from the University of Tennessee at Knoxville. Leigh has worked with diverse populations across the lifespan within non-profit outpatient medical and mental health clinics. She utilizes a client-centered, strengths-based approach and believes in the resilience and capabilities within each person. She focuses on concerns with depression, anxiety, sexual or gender identity, grief and loss, self-esteem, spirituality, and navigating life’s many transitions. Leigh operates from an anti-racist, queer-affirming stance and recognizes the impact of systems on our collective well being. Leigh embraces an eclectic therapeutic style that is tailored to each person and can incorporate various elements including Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Mindfulness, Solutions focused therapy, and Internal Family Systems. She offers virtual, in office, or outdoor “walk and talk” sessions. She cultivates a safe space for clients, bringing compassion and authenticity, and playfulness to the therapeutic relationship. Leigh supports clients in moving toward holistic well being and activating the skills to find satisfaction, peace, and joy in their lives.
