I have been working with people for over ten years. My background is in holistic psychology and mindfulness, somatic psychology that examines the body-mind relationship, and I work mainly from trauma-informed perspective. I believe that most of us might have gotten emotionally injured and these adverse experiences can negatively project into our lives, into the way we live, think and behave. I view psychotherapy mainly as necessary self-care, a space to be with yourself rather than categorical fixing people or advising them. To me, a client is always an expert on his own life. I earned my formal education first at State University of New York and then at NYU. I am also trained to practice EMDR method which shows to be an efficient method to process traumatic experiences. I am also a certified Regression therapist. Currently I am being trained in psychedelic assisted psychotherapy at the Integral Psychiatry Institute in Colorado. My approach could be called holistic or integral. I specialize in trauma. I view each client as an unique individual with immense inner potential for growth. I think that it is precisely at time of our pain that can manifest as depression, anxiety, feeling stuck, grief, loss and overwhelm that we tap into our inner healing power. I think the therapeutic alliance between my client and I is crucial for the therapy to be successful. I relate to Richard Alpert’s words when he said we all just “walking each other home”. If you feel like we might be a good fit, don't hesitate to book a session. Psychotherapy works and you are not alone with it.
