Leslie is a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) in Idaho and California. She earned a dual master’s degree in counseling, and marriage and family therapy from John Brown University in 2008. Since then, she has gained extensive experience across diverse clinical settings, including outpatient youth services, school-based programs, community mental health clinics, foster/adoption centers, church/nonprofit organizations, and has operated a private practice. Leslie is dedicated to continually growing professionally, refining her skills as a therapist, maintaining high ethical standards, and ensuring cultural competency. Leslie takes an emotionally focused, experiential approach that is person-centered and grounded in attachment theory. Leslie has done extensive post graduate training in Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT) for couples and individuals (EFIT) and is certified to administer SYMBIS premarital assessments. She is often sought out by couples in need of relationship repair, individuals navigating relational distress, and those seeking to integrate their faith into the counseling process. She specializes in couple’s counseling, betrayal/ infidelity, premarital counseling, individual therapy, depression, anxiety, & trauma, family therapy, navigating developmental stages/adolescence, navigating divorce & blended family, faith-based counseling, grief counseling, co-parenting support, birth moms & adoptive families counseling, pre and post baby couple counseling, developing relationships.
