Life challenges can be caused by many things - unexpected transitions, struggles at work or school, relationships, and past trauma – and can often stir paralyzing emotions like depression, anxiety, confusion, and stress. I use cognitive behavioral and trauma-informed approaches to help adolescent girls and adults of all ages find solutions and enjoy life again. Sub-specialties include parenting issues, sexual/physical abuse, and Christian counseling for those interested in faith-based therapy. In 2021, I received my master's in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Liberty University and became a state-rostered specialist in Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy during my internship. After spending nearly three years counseling children and families who have undergone trauma, I have launched my own practice, offering both in-person therapy and teletherapy over Talkspace. My style is always warm, approachable, authentic, practical, and non-judgmental. I would be honored to journey with you toward a more fulfilling life!
