I decided to take a deep dive into the study of neuroscience and its application to psychotherapy when all our worlds were turned upside down by the pandemic and I found that traditional forms of talk therapy weren't as helpful as they once were given the circumstances. With an better understanding of our internal experience, we can learn what we need to do to feel present and engaged in our lives. I specialize in the treatment of complex trauma, complicated mourning and/or how those often intersect with adulthood/parenthood. That said, I have found that the application of the mind/body connection lens towards anxiety and depression to also be groundbreaking.
